My Classes

I taught Music and Health subject for the first year level/ the freshmen in Saint Louis University Laboratory High School. I handled 22 sections in a week with a 40 minute period in each of the section. In Music I teach the Rudiments where I used the Kodaly method to deliver knowledge in skills that students need in learning the said subject. In Health we discussed about the different ways of assessing one's health, adolescent stage, first aid and the mis used and over the counter drugs. I taught the regular and the science sections. After my class in the afternoon I practiced the SLU LHS Marching Band until 6 PM at proceed to the College Band for rehearsals from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very fun of giving students activities for I believe that students learn more if they experience the learning process.  I believe that a student can learn faster if it involves all the senses of the learner, in addition, a learner can retain things learned for a longer duration of time based on the experiences they had in the learning process.

CONTINUITY OF EDUCATION AND CREATIVITY

As a teacher and an individual, I continue my education through enrolling myself with the different subjects offered in the Graduate program to update my styles and the skills in teaching it is also one way of updating my knowledge withe new trends in my field of teaching.  I also research on different materials to be utilized in the field of teaching to update my creativity.
